When you get into the music business, you never know where you might end up!! We had a first yesterday. "Cowboy Church" at the Upper Canada Rodeo saw the Gallaghers performing in a bar - bar stools, pool table and everything!! It was a wonderful service with inspirational stories from a Canadian Rodeo Hall of Famer, a terrific poem "Over the Edge" written by a rodeo cowboy and Pastor Tim's message. I love how everything always works together. It was fun singing some old country hymns along with Mark & Billie. Packed the Papagus Bar and hopefully reached some of the crowd wandering around outside too. It was a wonderful treat for us too to have someone else look after the sound!! It meant that we just had to pack up our instruments and head off to our next gig - a cemetery memorial service later that afternoon. Wasn't it Dr. Seuss who said "Oh, the place you'll go...."
